Privacy policy

Last updated: 24 October 2026

Credence Solutions Ltd (“Credence Solutions”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect and use personal data when you visit credenceltd.com, contact us, apply to work with us or do business with us. We are the data controller for this information. We are registered in England and Wales with company number 10858412.

1. Information we collect

  • Enquiries: when you use our contact form or email us, we collect your name, email address and any other details you choose to give us, such as your company, phone number and message.
  • Job applications: if you send us your CV, we collect the information it contains and any related correspondence.
  • Clients and suppliers: business contact details of the people we work with, and information needed to deliver services, invoice and keep records.
  • Technical data: our hosting provider automatically records server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to keep the website secure and working properly.

2. How and why we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide information you have asked for — on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
  • To deliver services under a contract with you or your organisation, and to take steps before entering into a contract.
  • To assess applications for work with us — our legitimate interest in recruiting.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
  • To keep our website and systems secure — our legitimate interest in protecting our business.

We do not sell your data, use it for automated decision-making, or send marketing emails without your consent.

3. Who we share it with

We share personal data only where necessary, with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf under appropriate contracts — for example our website and email hosting provider (Hostinger), our accounting software provider and our professional advisers. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google servers and shares your IP address with Google. See Google’s privacy policy for details.

4. International transfers

Some of our service providers may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.

5. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 2 years.
  • Job applications: up to 12 months, unless you agree to us keeping them longer.
  • Client and financial records: 6 years after the end of the relevant financial year, as required by UK law.

6. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email info@credenceltd.com. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and secure, reputable service providers.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
